It’s that time of year again. BAMcinemaFest 2013 will be happening June 19-28. Two films that passed through Toneburst’s doors are in the lineup:

Michael Cera’s wonderful directorial debut is available on youtube’s JASH. Toneburst is excited to have collaborated with Michael and the rest of the team. Check it out!
Shane Carruth’s new feature UPSTREAM COLOR will be hitting theaters April 15th. Toneburst worked with Shane in getting the trailers and teasers together.
Matt Porterfield’s latest feature, I USED TO BE DARKER, will be having its domestic and international premieres at Sundance and Berlin festivals. Sundance screenings are:

THE COMEDY opens today at Cinefamily in LA. November 16 is the NYC premiere at BAM.
In other news, RED FLAG received a BEST FILM NOT PLAYING AT A THEATER NEAR YOU nomination for the 22nd annual Gotham Indie Film Awards. There’ll be screenings of RED FLAG at MOMA November 18th.
If you haven’t seen THE COMEDY yet, the NYC premiere is Saturday at BAMcinemaFest. THE COMEDY will also be presented by BAM and Rooftop films at an outdoor screening on Wed, June 27. Rick Alverson and Tim Heidecker will be in attendance.
There will be two screenings of Alex Karpovsky’s RED FLAG at the LA Film Festival. June 15th and 17th!
Tiny Furniture will be released Feb 14, and in celebration, there will be a screening/Q&A/afterparty at reRun Gastropub on Saturday, Feb 11. It’s free, and cast/crew will be in attendance. More info here.
